This week we learned that water sticks to itself.  That is how it can flow.  We saw water stick to itself on paintbrushes, just like it does when our hair gets wet... that is how we can make crazy hair in the bathtub!  We also experimented to show that water won't stick to grease or wax.  A duck's feathers have a special greasy coating on them, so their bodies won't get wet and cold from being in the water too long.
